The Classroom Essentials Bundle: six Canva templates I actually reuse

July 14, 20262 min read

Six templates I kept rebuilding from scratch, until I stopped

There's a particular kind of tired that comes from opening Canva on a Sunday night, staring at a blank page, and rebuilding a resource you know you made last term. It's somewhere in a folder. It's somewhere in your downloads. You don't have time to find it, so you just make it again.

I did that more times than I'd like to admit before I finally sat down and fixed it properly.

The problem wasn't a lack of good templates

Over the last six months, I've released six editable Canva templates through the Empowered Educator Hub, one at a time, each one built to solve a specific classroom moment:

  • My Future-Ready Roadmap — a goal-setting template that gets students thinking past the next assessment

  • "Get To Know Me" Student Profile — the fastest way to actually know who's sitting in front of you, especially early in the year

  • The Frayer Model Vocabulary Builder — still the most reliable way I know to make new vocabulary stick

  • The Persuasive O.R.E.O. Planner — for when you need a structure that stops persuasive writing collapsing into "I think this because I think this"

  • "All About My Week" Journal — a low-effort, high-value reflection habit

  • The Main Idea Umbrella — reading comprehension, without the worksheet fatigue

The Essential Classroom Bundle

Each one on its own does its job well. The problem was that they lived in different places, released months apart, and if you'd missed one, you had to go hunting.

So I put them in one place

We business owners often talk about "streamlining" like it's a buzzword. Here it just meant: stop making people hunt for six things that solve six different Monday-morning problems.

That's what the Classroom Essentials Bundle is. All six templates, together, editable in Canva, ready whenever you need them, not tied to when they were first released.

What you actually get

Every template is fully editable. Duplicate it, tweak the wording for your year level, change the colours if you want, and it's yours. No redesigning from a blank canvas at 9pm. No rebuilding the thing you already built once.

This isn't about becoming a Canva expert. It's about giving YOU back the hour you'd otherwise spend rebuilding something that already exists.

Worth it if...

  • You've used one of these templates before and thought "I wish I had the rest"

  • You're starting a new year level or subject and want your foundational resources sorted in one sitting

  • You're a school leader wanting a consistent, ready-made set your team can actually use, not just admire

Not for you if you're after something wildly novel every fortnight. These are essentials for a reason. They're the ones I keep coming back to.
